Game 74: Psychiatrist's Office

[this is a small, cozy office with all the regular office trappings, a desk, a potted plant, and so on. one of those fancy long psychiatrist couches! oh, and of course, a coffeemaker with all the fixings]

Hello, gentlemen! ♥

Anyway, it's not for no apparent reason. It's so we can win.

Heh.

*stretches out on the couch*

So let's talk strategy.

[. . . sits at the desk]

All right.

*we could trade?*

The clue's still not out, but unless we want to go deliberately looking for a wolf team it might not make much difference. There might be a couple of advantages to trying that though. Finding some wolves would give us a potential ally (and it'd be too early in the game for them to backstab us efficiently), it would keep the sheep from realizing that there's somebody who can pick them off, and we might be able to solve the issue with that split team before it becomes a problem.

But we could also just start gunning for the weakest teams and worry about the rest as it comes. If we manage to break up a team, they won't get a chance to find out who did it and we'll still be pretty safe under the radar.

Wouldn't they find out who we are, though? Or it would be too late by that point.

[identity profile] u-jerk.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 06:58 pm (UTC)(link)
The only learn who we are if they stick together. Which is why if there's a team we think are wolves but we're wrong and they're strong, we're in trouble.

[nods]

Well, after going through the post earlier, Kyon-san told the Shepherd he didn't trust Kira-san and he might as well take their name off. Also, Kira-san told Azula-san that if he gets eaten tonight, Suzumiya-san is a wolf. . . . Something to do with jealousy. Of course, all of it could just be talk, but.

[identity profile] u-jerk.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 07:10 pm (UTC)(link)
No, they'd definitely be easiest to push out. We could probably manipulate anybody who had issues with the "exercise," we'd just have to ask the right questions. But I think we could ask those two anything and they'd break up.

[identity profile] doctorquincy.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 07:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Like, "how does it feel to be put in a collar against your will?"

[identity profile] u-jerk.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 07:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Careful, you'll get one too.

[identity profile] doctorquincy.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 07:24 pm (UTC)(link)
[ttly srs, rly]

Would it require you to wall me for twenty seconds with tongue?

[identity profile] u-jerk.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 07:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh yeah. That might be a problem.

[identity profile] u-jerk.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 07:30 pm (UTC)(link)
...

"Do you think you could play this game better if you had all the power" is probably a good general one too.

[identity profile] u-jerk.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 07:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Small, specific stuff.

I wonder what happens if they lie.

[identity profile] doctorquincy.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 07:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Would anyone be able to tell?

[identity profile] u-jerk.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 07:47 pm (UTC)(link)
So. Which would you rather do? Pick out the weakest links, or look for wolves?

[identity profile] doctorquincy.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 07:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Which one do you think has a greater chance of keeping us in the game until the end?

[identity profile] u-jerk.livejournal.com 2008-04-13 07:51 pm (UTC)(link)
....probably finding an ally first. But. It kind of depends on the clue.
