Why shouldn't he appear? It looks like there's a couple of really pissed people around, but it's not like they could do anything to him. They aren't bothering us, either.
...We were forced to play a game called Cry Wolf. Normally it's fairly harmless, but this time real death was involved. Every day the shepherds had a body delivered. Often it was someone who was close to one of the teams. I'm not sure how they managed it, but on the third day, it was yours.
But I'm not dead! I wasn't even doing anything to get dead! I was in a kitchen eating..er. Dinner. Ok, yeah, the food made me kinda want to die, but it didn't kill me!
The shepherds appear to control the moogles. They'll only bring us back if the shepherds permit it. We were eliminated from the game, and therefore sentenced to death.
