CFUW 136 - Limbo

[It's a raised loft room, and if you go to the edge you can watch the game still going on below. No one sees or hears you though.

If you're not interested in that, well, there's more sofas and a long table with drinks, fruit and cheese.]

My track record is about half round one exits, quarter round three eatings, and quarter surviving to the end. It could be worse.

Is everyone that convinced Sanosuke and Laguna were wolves, then?
zettai: (wow my keywords are a hot mess)

Yep. I left a warning on my way out not to give Adam a free pass, but Sanosuke and Laguna have done a really, really good job of making themselves look bad. I think it'd take someone screwing up pretty badly to switch suspicion, 'cause everything fell into place pretty nicely with the assumption of Satoshi/Boyue and Sanosuke/Laguna teams.

I see. The fact that wolves being taken out the first night is supposedly unlikely helps boost that assumption.

Yep, that too!

Oh well, you win some, you lose some. I think we did a pretty good job all things considered, so I can live with the probable result.

So can I. It's a close game either way.
zettai: (the entire future)

[personal profile] zettai 2012-02-14 05:40 am (UTC)(link)
... I totally meant to say Satoshi and Boyue up there, by the way! Though Sanosuke and Laguna looked suspicious, too, and it didn't help that if you stuck the two pairs together most of the voting could be explained really nicely.
velocivector: (cuz there's nothing else to do)

[personal profile] velocivector 2012-02-14 06:09 am (UTC)(link)
Though I'd argue that Laguna probably would have rather avoided eating me right after my conversation with him in the first ousting. I did expect to get eaten for giving that data, mind you, but if he were a wolf, his comments were completely unnecessary.
zettai: (oh welp)

[personal profile] zettai 2012-02-14 06:22 am (UTC)(link)
Hmm, I didn't really think about it that way. It just seemed kind of weird that he'd be complaining about the data in the first place, especially given that as a mentor I would've assumed he'd be used to seeing that kind of thing. But you have a point.
velocivector: (I'm in the basement baby)

[personal profile] velocivector 2012-02-14 06:30 am (UTC)(link)
I agree that it was weird, that much is true. I guess we'll see what the sheep come up with. Rika's pretty smart and will probably end up reviewing everything just in case she sees something she didn't notice before.
zettai: (attention caught)

[personal profile] zettai 2012-02-14 10:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Ooh, Satoshi and Boyue are really trying to build themselves a defense now. We'll see how that goes!
velocivector: (wrap your lip around your head)

[personal profile] velocivector 2012-02-14 10:32 pm (UTC)(link)
I just saw that. The ensuing discussions will either make or break it.
zettai: (the girl with the reins)

[personal profile] zettai 2012-02-14 10:37 pm (UTC)(link)
If nothing else, I did point out in private yesterday that Adam seemed suspicious too. But I don't know if anything's gonna be enough to shift the focus from Satoshi and Boyue by this point.
velocivector: (hold your breath and count to ten)

[personal profile] velocivector 2012-02-14 10:47 pm (UTC)(link)
They'll definitely have it tough. I'm going to bet that the way Adam chooses to vote will help decide things. The sheep won't want to split the votes between clues.
zettai: (knowing smiles)

[personal profile] zettai 2012-02-14 10:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Given Satoshi and Boyue's vote, though, it looks like splitting between clues could end up inevitable.

I told Klavier and Lincoln to make sure to get Adam actually talking for once, so we'll see how good an argument he can hold up when pressed.
velocivector: (I see history playing before me)

[personal profile] velocivector 2012-02-14 10:58 pm (UTC)(link)
I know. That's why I said it.

I wonder how much they'll manage to get out of that guy. I think the most I saw was his favoritism of Parker and his claim that eating me was somehow more aggressive than it looked.
zettai: (then you'll deny the entire world)

[personal profile] zettai 2012-02-15 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, and that's what I didn't like about him, actually. He was so quiet that he could do basically whatever he wanted without it seeming weird or having to provide any actual rationale.
velocivector: (I've never been an extrovert)

[personal profile] velocivector 2012-02-15 12:57 am (UTC)(link)
I always dislike those types. So hard to get a reading on them.

[sighs]

He's done a good job of letting the sheep confuse the hell out of themselves, I'll give him that, but that's it.
