So, maybe the uh...telepathic talent was the 'link' the notes referred to. One of the notes mentioned the association being "in the market for weapons", they could have been trying to make them into soldiers.
I think you may be right about that. I also suspect that Alice--the dame in the first video--had those powers too, and that... whatever happened in Hall 5... was her fault, whether accidentally or on purpose. What was that one note, something about being careful because they "don't want another Alice"?
The joint was trashed. All the furniture and fixtures thrown around, blood everywhere. Chalk outlines of bodies on the ground, too. Which may be fake, but it certainly looked like something bad had happened there. There were these programs lying around for an event that Alice was speaking at, and the first video we found showed Alice speaking in a room that looked like that one--but tidier, of course.
So I figure, the scientists were studying telekinesis and they wanted to use it as a weapon. Alice was their first subject, but either she couldn't control it or they couldn't control her, so when she gives her speech in Hall 5, it ends with her wrecking the place--and the unfortunate people in it. So the scientists go looking for new subjects and find Allen and Elise... but that's as far as my speculation goes. I'm still not sure what happened with them. Kinda sounds like Elise was always a little screwy, though.
...I wonder...whoever was writing all the notes says they feel "unsafe" with Elise and MJ working together, and that they think Elise is a punk.
The last piece of the puzzle is who the notes belong to. I'd say it was the second woman in the photograph - "me", except...hm. For that one note that talks about Alice not wanting for an anniversary. I'm not sure if that's supposed to be a romantic anniversary, or some other kind. Since Alice seems pretty cozy with MJ in the other photo.
Well, Elise, Allen, Alice, and MJ are all mentioned by name in the notes, right? So it can't be any of them. I think the second woman in the photograph is probably the most likely. Which, come to think of it, would be easy enough to back up by comparing the handwriting on the photograph label against the notes.
I think that was "says mj"--and then it refers to MJ as a she. I've been assuming MJ was the guy in the lab coat, but maybe I've had it all wrong. Maybe MJ is the second woman, which would make the scientist guy our most likely candidate for letter-writer.
I mean the second one, the one that starts with "good luck trying to break Elise". The one you pointed out, that one was "mj says". But good catch on the gender, I...overlooked that.
I assumed too, since his first name is Marlowe. You might be right, he might be the one writing the notes. It would certainly make more sense given the photo of him and Alice together.
[oh look we get unicorns instead of crime scene photos.
which is okay, because the loli is here and she doesn't need to see whatever's on them.]

Huh. "says me". Is that just a really weird phrasing, or a set of initials?

It's not like there can't be more than one person with a first name starting with M, anyway. Only so many letters in the alphabet.

this is the most pleased he's looked the entire game]
Yeah, apparently not.
